Language and Humor Blog is dedicated to language, linguistics, English, foreign languages, sign languages, humor/humour, and comedy.

I’m Kevin. I’m a native speaker of American English, and in college I studied English, Language concentration. Then in graduate school I studied English again, specifically Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

I’ve also studied Japanese (and lived in Japan for about five years, teaching English, linguistics, and humor studies), American Sign Language (undergraduate minor), French, German, and Spanish, as well as some Mandarin Chinese and Japanese Sign Language on my own.
